In July 2005 Their Royal Highnesses Prince Charles and Duchess
Camilla visited the Suffolk Preservation Society headquarters at
Lavenham. I suggested that they might like to try their hand at pargeting and to my delight, both their Royal Highnesses covered up their smart clothes with aprons and had a go. To begin with they modelled assiduously but soon realised that pargeting is very similar to making mud pies and dissolved into laughter. Following on from this meeting I pargeted a ceiling panel for Prince Charles at Birk Hall. |
